Dogs pretty much universally love peanut butter but it doesnt always love them back. Commercial peanut butters can have harmful additives that will harm your dog. Our peanut butter is churned from 100% Australian organically grown peanuts, lightly roasted and ground smooth and thats it. No salt , no sugar and no artificial sweeteners or anything else artificial for that matter.

Our dogs “go nuts” for it, we think yours will too. Find it in the online shop.

Label for Meaty for Dogs brand organic peanut butter showing peanuts in background, a spoon with peanut butter, and a cartoon dog face with big eyes in front. Text highlights safety, organic ingredients, and storage instructions.

WHY PERMETHRIN?

Permethrin is toxic to insects but it’s said to have low mammalian toxicity – it’s poorly absorbed through the skin and and rapidly inactivated by the body. However, there is one exception – cats are particularly sensitive to Permethrin for reasons that aren’t fully understood, so it should never be used on cats or applied when cats are around. It is an insecticide that affects the nervous system of insects – it permeates the shell or skin of the insect and causes paralysis, which then leads to death. Permethrin is a synthetic, man-made form of Pyrethrin, a natural insecticide derived from the Chrysanthemum plant. Consequently, it is more readily available than Pyrethrin and it is more effective.
